Which Toto one piece toilet should you choose?
We give our readers several recommendations when it comes to a one piece design. Both chosen units have been analyzed and are certainly two of my personal favorites with some great features that go down well in my book. Find out more about them below.
Those of you looking for something that packs a decent double cyclone flush for power may want to keep your eye on this loo from the Ultramax series.
It’s WaterSense approved, which means the manufacturer has ensured the flushing system is highly efficient by consuming just 1.28 gallons of water each flush. This could be a sensible choice for those wanting to upgrade from the older style units that consume double this figure.
As mentioned previously, the double cyclone flush is powerful and effective, but at the same time reasonably quiet which is always a plus point in our eyes.
An elongated bowl design and user friendly sitting height ensure users are comfortable and a SanaGloss finish make the design look modern and aesthetic. To give you an idea of what sort of size you’re dealing with once assembled, the manufacturer give dimensions are as follows: 27.75 inches height x 19.88 inches width x 32 inches Depth.
And with all the feature inclusions, it’s still reasonably affordable, albeit slightly more expensive than some of the low budget options available in the industry.
Yet another highly efficient toilet from the Ultramax range. Meets the industry efficiency rating in water consumption per flush which the manufacturer states saves water by up to twenty percent. Quite impressive by most peoples standards.
Design wise, they haven’t gone far wrong either with smart glazing ion glazing finishes on the bowl to make light work of the removal of waste. An elongated front and white color give it a really modernistic feel.
And all this coupled with a respectable three inch flushing valve, it’s far superior to two inches, with claims of it being 125% larger.
To give you an idea of dimensions, after researching we found that its height from top to bottom measures 29.25 inches, width – 16.5 inches, and depth 28.25 inches.
It may not be the cheapest option out there, and especially not a great match for bargain hunters, but for those who need something reliable, modern, and effective, may want to have a look into it further.
What about Toto two piece toilets?
The two piece designs are perfect for those who want the bowl and tank separated. There are a good number of these styles available, however, one option from the Drake range comes out on top. Read more about it below.
This loo is one of the more popular options consumers go for. At least online it appears. It’s easy to see why. It comes with a reasonable price tag but still manages to offer plenty of qualities that keep it on par with some more expensive options. And consumer reviews tend to reflect that at this current point in time.
Researching more into the specifications and design, we believe there is good reason it has received all this positive feedback, and that comes down to offering a quality affordable toilet, that’s reliable and effectively gets rid of waste.
Stating the obvious, this is a two piece toilet that comes with an elongated bowl at a good, comfortable height for sitting. Smart SanaGloss glazing adds to its efficiency in keeping the bowl clean and hygienic through the use of a really smooth, slick surface, that’s easy to clean.
Comes with a G-Max flushing system which includes a 3 inch valve. Both together produce an excellent flush that is powerful, effective, and perhaps just as important, quiet.

CST454CEFG#01 Drake II
This is a two piece from the very popular drake ii range. Double cyclone technology flush gives the performance needed for everyday use in the household, regularly ridding the bowl of waste with one powerful flush of up to 1.6 gallons.
However, know that this particular model doesn’t include a toilet seat, so that is something that will come as an additional expense.
Overall, a reasonably priced loo that serves its purpose well and will look great in a well lit bathroom.
Ultramax ii range – MS604114CEFG#12
Another WaterSense approved unit with double cyclone technology to effectively and efficiently clean the bowl with each flush. Flushing noise levels are kept to a minimum, making it a great choice for a family home.
On the whole, it has a really modern design which includes ion barrier glazing on the bowl, and looks great with a unique beige finish, which makes a nice difference to the standard whites currently dominating the industry.
However, this is probably on the upper tier price point which means getting this on a tight budget is going to be highly unlikely.
