Our wall mounted toilet reviews
Find our in depth reviews and product guides below that are designed to walk you through the specifications and capabilities of model specific products. Our research consists looking for a range of features that help us understand the overall quality and what consumers can expect to find.
A toilet by Toto that will almost certainly provide you with the solution for saving space if you have a very small washroom. The actual dimensions are as follows: 21 inches by 14.2 inches by 15 inches.
The CT418F#01 operates on a dual max flushing system that may not the provide the most powerful flush in the industry but still good enough for normal operation.
It does a great job in saving water too thanks to the 1.6 gallons used every flush, which is great for the environment.
It’s of a universal height to cater to the masses, and comes equipped with an elongated bowl that tends to focus on ensuring the user is comfortable whilst seated as it feels slightly more natural than their round alternatives.
Price wise, it falls somewhere in the middle. It’s not a good fit for those with a smaller budget, but at the same time, not too expensive that its unobtainable for the majority. Definitely one worth looking into and it should be noted this will work well with Toto in wall tank systems.
American Standard 2093.100.020 Glenwall
Unlike the toilet above, this features a tank behind it, which may not be what you had in mind if you have a very small space to install it in. However, this product still holds its own against many of its competing numbers with a great set of specs.
If anything, the tank being visible gives it character and adds to the overall aesthetics and in my view gives it a more modern look.
The elongated bowl will, as mentioned previously, ensure the user is comfortable in a fairly natural seated position.
Its trip lever is polished chrome, and will produce a reasonably powerful, pressure assisted flush, but I feel that’s still a world away from touchless flush toilets. They just feel a whole lot more hygienic and a step in the right direction. However, for the task assigned to it, the technology included here will be more than sufficient.
Readers should note that the seat and carrier are not part of the bundle if you decide to purchase this particular model.
It’s a higher tier option, from the American Standard brand, which is on the more expensive side but still contains some great features. If you’re have a larger budget, this could certainly be a great match, and the reviews I have found around the web on various online retail sources and blogs, tend to reflect this feeling.
Kohler K-6299-0 Veil
If the design is a major deciding factor in what you end up choosing, you won’t go far wrong with the K-6299-0. Its minimalist design will help give any bathroom a bright, modern and clean feel, which I believe is very important.
Made by a well respected name industry which is always a good starting point, and certainly something we keep an eye on before we look for suitable products to review. The Kohler brand, have a excellent track record across several industries, not least of all bathroom fixtures, and the more we investigate online, the more we begin to understand the quality of there work.
This wall hung loo is no different, with several consumers providing good feedback and ratings so far. An early indication of quality, but not a closed deal. You will want to read on and dig a bit deeper before you decide to buy anything.
Comes with a typical elongated bowl that is compact, whilst adding much needed comfort to the design. Operates on a dual flush system which will offer two separate levels of power to the flush dependent on the waste.
This should be combined with the K-6284 tank which is built to be inside the wall to be even more space saving. Measurements provided are 21 inches by 15.1 inches by 13.9 inches.
If you’re not a fan of the various hardware that is installed surrounding this type of toilet, you need not worry. It’s named Veil for a reason and does a great job concealing these various parts that just makes it look even more aesthetic.
EAGO WD333 Square
Again, some unique features included within the design and something that appears to be commonplace for the brand, perhaps the most prominent is the square shape bowl. It’s certainly different to your average product on the market, and the specs outline how it can be effective for use in your own bathroom.
Dual flush buttons give users the choice in saving water for liquid waste and using a more powerful one for solid waste. 1.6 gallons is consumed with solid, and 0.8 gallons for liquid, making it a great choice for conserving water.
It can also be ADA compliant in that it gives you the choice of how high you install it. Aim for seventeen inches and higher for compliance. This will ensure that it’s easily accessible for those with mobility issues and simple to get off and on the seat.
Not particularly expensive either falling in the mid range price category. One to keep in mind.
Duravit Starck 3 2200090000
A reasonably compact option measuring just 21.2 inches by 14.4 inches by 17.1 inches. Those of you with smaller amounts of bathroom space may just find this to be exactly what you need. This brand gives off a unique feel in design.
Wall hung and has a white, minimalist design that looks clean and will work well with the space given to it. I’m of the opinion that it’s not particularly built for comfort, but I would say it’s designed more for space saving convenience than anything.
It’s WaterSense certified and is backed by a good warranty policy that has you covered for up to five years.
One thing to look out for is complaints about the ineffectiveness of the flush. When conducting our research we saw several consumers complain about it not effectively cleaning and rinsing the bowl with each flush. That’s something to look out for.
You should be taking many things into consideration before you buy. You want to set yourself a budget limit and stick to it, consider whether you want the tank to be hidden within the wall or visible and you also want to keep track of its style and size of its bowl, along with the flush used. If you know the answer to each of these, you will be able to filter out two of the three model above to find the top wall mounted toilet for your requirements.
